Exception to the Rule: Success Stories of Black Women in Media
Held on March 28,2014 as the closing of Women's History Month the "Exception to the Rule" event included an open forum for young women interested in working in business and the media. The panel discussion consisted of industry professional and leaders such as Hampton University professor April Woodard, radio personality Dominique Da Diva, and People Magazine contributor Bridget Bartlet.

Rent the Runway
Rent the Runway is the perfect website for the women who has a closet full of clothes but still has nothing to wear. As a Rent the Runway Rep at Hampton University I held the position of Co Manager and Public Relations Rep in my team. My job included helping to plan events such as trunk shows and publicity stunts. I also made sure that clothes were provided for campus fashion shows and promoting Rent the Runway events on campus. The team also partnered with campus organizations such as the Public Relations Student Society of America, the Student Government Association, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. and Pretty Girls Sweat to hold campus events.
PRSSA and Bra-Ha-Ha partnered to put on a serious uplifting experience for Breast Cancer Awareness month. The event featured a panel discussion and a bra decorating contest because every bra tells a story.

Public Relations Student Society of America
As Treasurer and a memeber of Public Relations Student Socaity of America I not only was in charge of keeping track of the organizations money and spending, I also had a hand in the plannng and promotion of events. Throughout the 2013-2014 school year PRSSA put on events such as skype sessions, disscussion panels, a Breast Cancer Awareness event and Scandal Watch Parties.
